Most important thing in the entire world, of course, and one of the greatest aspects of traditional Hawaiian culture (also for most Asian cultures, as well, as you are WELL aware, judging by the looks of things!). I was a student of Asian Studies, years ago at UCBerzerkeley and only discovered Pan-Pacific cultures after my 'Arab phase' ended in the mid-90s. A bit late in life, but I've never looked back! Just wish I didn't have this pasty white haole skin as an instant identifier, but that's the Celtish ancestry.
